Ashwagandha is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as an adaptogen and a nervine to help cope with stress and support overall cognitive health. It is a helpful sleep aid and is used to balance various conditions that arise from 'vata dosha' imbalances. Helps the body adapt to stress and bring it back to a balanced state. Ashwagandha root has also been known to support energy and focus.
Ingredients: Organic Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera). Also known by Winter cherry, Indian ginseng.
Suggested Uses: Add to soups, cooking, smoothies, baths, etc. Infuse in water or olive oil. For hot or cold tea, pour 8-12 oz of boiling water over over 1-2 tsp. of herbs, or to desired taste. Steep 2-3 min. Add to any dish, protein balls, etc!
